Disc spring finished product inspection process guide: Key steps to ensure reliable performance

 

Final product inspection is the cornerstone of ensuring disc spring delivery quality. Jiangsu Sunzo Spring strictly adheres to the "National Standard for Disc Springs" GB/T 1972 and customer-specific requirements, establishing a scientific and rigorous inspection process. This article systematically analyzes the critical steps of disc spring final product inspection, demonstrating how we deliver reliable performance products through meticulous technical control.

 

1、Pressure stability test: the first prerequisite for all tests

 

The first step in the final product inspection is to perform three rounds of flat pressing and strong pressing treatment on the disc spring. The purpose of this step is:

Stable free height (H): This test evaluates whether the disc spring's free height stabilizes after multiple flattening cycles, serving as the foundation for all subsequent dimensional and performance measurements.

Screen early failures: Identify products with potential defects or dimensional instability through forced pressure.

 

Only products that demonstrate stable Hlevels and meet the standards after pressure testing may proceed to subsequent inspection procedures.

 

2、Dimension and load performance test: precise control of key parameters

 

After the basic stability of the size is confirmed, the comprehensive size, form and position tolerance and core performance inspection will be carried out.

Dimension and form inspection: According to the standard or drawing, the inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness and other key dimensions of the disc spring are measured accurately.

Load performance testing (core procedure): Regardless of the disc spring's free height, it must be compressed to the specified height `H-0.75h` (for composite springs: `(H-0.75h)`) within the allowable height tolerance range, and the required load force must be measured. This force value serves as the primary criterion for evaluating whether the disc spring meets the National Standard for Disc Springs or customer-specific requirements.

 

3、Fatigue life test: professional verification of harsh working conditions

 

For disc springs with dynamic life requirements, professional fatigue testing is required. This inspection has stricter requirements:

Special equipment: it is necessary to use special fatigue testing machine, ordinary press is difficult to meet the requirements.

Standard operation: the loading method, loading waveform and loading frequency should be strictly controlled to simulate the force state of disc spring under actual working conditions, so as to obtain real and reliable fatigue life data.
